Natalie Jones DVM, Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT)

Rehabilitation therapy involves non-medication pain control options and therapeutic exercises to help patients with:

  • neurologic conditions
  • post-operative healing
  • muscle/tendon injuries
  • sports injuries
  • weight loss
  • and MORE!

Treatment Types:

    • Therapeutic LASER: reduced pain and inflammation using light therapy with a gentle warming sensation
    • PEMF bed (pulsed electromagnetic field therapy): reduced pain and improved healing using pulsed electromagnetic waves
    • TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation): pain control treatment using electrical leads contacting the skin with ultrasound gel
    • NMES (neuromuscular electrical stimulation): creating muscle contractions using electrical leads contacting the skin with ultrasound gel

Your pet’s ONE HOUR rehabilitation consultation will include:

  • orthopedic and neurological examination
  • gait analysis: identifying issues with posture and walking patterns
  • muscle mass measurements: evaluating size of muscles serves as a baseline for progress, and helps identify problem areas
  • goniometry: measuring the angles achieved during range of motion for affected joints to identify limitations and track improvement
  • home exercise plan: workout plan for your pet! This can be really simple, gentle exercises ranging to more challenging options
  • practicing exercises – so you know exactly what to do at home!
