Dr. Emma Delitala grew up on a farm near Grand Bend, Ontario and has been caring for various pets and farm animals for as long as she can remember. She studied at the University of Guelph, receiving a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) and then attended veterinary school at the Ontario Veterinary College and graduated with honours in 2017. Emma worked in Peterborough at a small animal emergency clinic before joining the team at Southside Animal Clinic in May of 2018.
Emma’s special interests include preventative and personalized medicine, dentistry, and surgery. She enjoys the strong sense of community that the team at SSAC shares with their clients and furry patients. In her spare time, Emma enjoys playing soccer, playing the piano, and just about everything active and outdoors. She is also the loving pet-mom to a feisty cat named Dinah and a sweet rescue dog named Naomi.
